This tutorial covers how users can reveal hidden names in order to prepare for migration.
The first step is to check the privacy settings of your name. To do this, visit app.avvy.domains and type your name into the search bar.
After you have typed your name, press Enter or click the magnifying glass icon.
Once the name page has loaded, verify the privacy of the name:
It will either say Standard Privacy or Enhanced Privacy.
For Standard Privacy names, skip step 2.
If your name has Enhanced Privacy, it is hidden and will need to be revealed in order to migrate.
** If you do not reveal an Enhanced Privacy name between October 15th and November 12th then it will not be possible to migrate. You must reveal your name in order to migrate to the new platform.
Connect your wallet to the application, then click the Switch to Standard Privacy button.
Click Switch to Standard Privacy to continue, and you will need to submit an on-chain transaction in order to reveal the name.
You will see the following message when the reveal has completed:
And finally, you can verify that your name has been switched to standard privacy.
If your name has been switched to Standard Privacy that is all you need to do until launch.
After launch there will be a three month window during which you must migrate your name. Users missing this deadline will be unable to migrate.
