Migration Guide

This guide covers important details for Avvy users migrating to the new platform. In order to migrate fully, ensure that you complete all steps.

Migration timeline

• October 15th, 2025: Avvy Domains registrations terminate
• October 15th, 2025 - November 12th, 2025: Migration preparation. During this time, Avvy users will need to reveal any hidden avax names. Check out our Tutorial on Revealing Hidden Names to ensure your domains will be able to transfer appropriately.
• Q4 2025: Doma launches avax registrations. Avvy users will be able to migrate during a three month window. Any names which have not been migrated at the end of the three month window will be released for public registration.
• Q1 or Q2 2026: avax.sh & any other remaining Avvy services will terminate. Avvy NFT artwork will be uploaded to IPFS.

Step 1. Migration Preparation

You must complete this step between October 15th and November 12th, 2025.

As an Avvy user, you will need to check your names to ensure they can be migrated. All hidden names (Enhanced Privacy) will need to be revealed in order to migrate.

Step 2. Migrate to the New Platform

After the new platform launch.
