Avvy Domains has been developed with a focus on privacy. Blockchains are intentionally public, meaning under normal circumstances anyone can peer into your wallet.
We have addressed two specific privacy issues relating to domain name registrations:
- Simply by registering a domain, you expose yourself to some potential privacy issues. Users have the option of registering domains with Enhanced Privacy to solve these issues.
- Domains are often used as databases (for example, so you can easily remember and share your wallet address). Setting data in the database exposes you to potential privacy issues. Users have the option of using Private Resolution to solve these issues.
